Description of Electrical Conductivity Meter EE0022

EE0022 is an electrical conductivity meter that measures the presence of electric charge in material and other properties using the eddy current method easily and quickly. These different properties include material strength, hardening, resistivity, and elasticity. This device employs an electromagnetism testing technique with a focus on non-ferromagnetic material.

 

Features:

–  The EE0022 is very versatile in its use, especially in several industries like manufacturing, aerospace, and testing laboratories in testing the conductivity of different non-ferromagnetic materials like copper and aluminum. 

– The EE0022 follows the aviation industry standard of frequency using 60kHz and for thin-plate material frequency of 120kHz, which gives two different unit types, IACS or MS/m, to read the testing data. 

– The EE0022 employs a digital signal for acquiring the test data at a speed of 1,000 times every minute while converting the conductivity value using the appropriate temperature compensation method to 20°C. This temperature compensation method ensures high accuracy for the measurement. 

– The EE0022 gives excellent visual aid to the user by using a big typeface for displaying the data and backlights to brighten the screen so that the user can see in dark environments.  

– It uses two operating languages that are advantageous for reaching different nationalities.

– With a higher battery capacity, EE0022 lasts more for a longer running time, while its mini-size ensures it is more portable and easily grasped.

How to Calibrate Electrical Conductivity Meter EE0022?

 

  1. Firstly, turn on the electrical conductivity meter for about 10 minutes before beginning the calibration process.
  2. Under the test screen press the Function key marked “Fun” to move the red cursor under function “Cal”, then press the Enter key
  3. Next, put the probe in the air for about 3 seconds and take it far away from the magnetic material then press the Enter key to complete the calibration in the air process, also ensure the probe remains insitu for 3 seconds before you start the calibration of No. 1 calibration block.
  4. Ensure there is full contact between the probe and the No.1 calibration block (which is the aluminum block with a low value) for 3 seconds, then press the Enter button to complete the calibration of the No.1 standard block. Ensure that the probe stays insitu for 3 seconds before beginning the calibration of No.2 calibration block.
  5. Ensure there is full contact between the probe and the No.2 calibration block (which is the copper block with a higher value) for 3 seconds, then press the Enter button to complete the calibration of the No.2 standard block. Ensure that the probe stays insitu for 3 seconds to accurately complete the calibration process. The system will automatically return to the test interface. 

 

 

Tips for Electrical Conductivity Meter EE0022 Calibration

 

  1. You need to keep the probe vertically and even touch the sample’s surface, gently lower or pick it up, and handle it with even force.
  2. Never touch the temperature sensor (the circular aluminum sheet on the upper back of the instrument) with your fingers.
  3. It is strictly forbidden to touch the end of the probe, the block, and the tested part of the sample with your fingers.
